olimpinė moneta statusas T sritis Kūno kultūra ir sportas apibrėžtis Atminimo piniginis ženklas valstybės, kurioje vykdomos olimpinės žaidynės. Olimpinė moneta skiriama žaidynėms populiarinti, papildomoms lėšoms žaidynių organizaciniam komitetui gauti. Išskirtinis olimpinės monetos bruožas yra olimpinis simbolis. Pirmoji moneta, susijusi su olimpinėmis žaidynėmis, išleista 480 m. pr. Kr. Mūsų laikų olimpinė moneta pirmą kartą išleista 1952 m. Suomijoje. atitikmenys: angl. Olympic coin vok.
